About this episode
On this episode we visited Sailor’s Bar & Grill. Food here sparked a very interesting conversation about Finnish grill food and how it was influenced by Tatar culture. We spoke about some Finnish words that might be controversial in other languages and discussed about what a sandwich really is.

On this episode Sami joined us for a chat. He runs Sailor’s and talked to us a bit about Tampere history and how a Sailor bar popped up in the middle of an inland city.
On our glass and plate
On this episode we tried a Peremec also known as Pärämätsi. This Tampere grill classic is a clear example of positive foreign influence in Finnish culture. This is a surprisingly little known item among foreigners and if you havent tried them, you are missing out!
On our glass we had some plantation rum as you would expect in a Sailor bar.
